FULL DAY TOUR TO HANDICRAFTS VILLAGE

The best way to discover Hue culture is take a tour to handicrafts village to learn how the local make a traditional thing which form the culture nowadays.



Itinerary:
08:00: Hotel pick up to Toa Kham terminal to depart to Sinh folk painting village. This is a boat trip which you have chance to know and feel about peaceful daily life such as Hen Island, Bai Dau wholesale market, Bao Vinh ancient town, Thanh Tien paper flower village and Sinh village.

09:30: Visit folk painting artisan of Ky Huu Phuoc’s house and learn how to paint in traditional way.

10:15: Bike to Sinh & Thanh Tien village to learn about numerous activities with local people.

11:00: Cycle to discover peaceful village daily life style then visit the paper flower gallery of the Thanh Tien village.

12:30: Have lunch on King Dragon boat.

13:30: Cycle to Tien Non village, visit the centralized flower growing area. You will have chance to take part in activities of growing flowers and green vegetables with local people.
Then, cycle back to the city. On the village roads, you can see the countryside, paddy fields and the ancient temples of the local people.

HUE STREET FOOD TOUR HAFT DAY
Traditional cuisine is an indispensable experience when visiting Hue. With its original and distinctive taste, Hue food reflects the values of culture, history, traditional custom, and art and had become an attractive trade mark of Vietnamese culinary art



Itinerary:
06:00 pm: hotel pick up by cyclo.

06:20pm: your guide will lead you to Hang Me restaurant, located on Vo Thi Sau street to enjoy the special cakes of Hue (Beo, Nam, Loc cakes...).

07:15pm: cyclo take you to Hen Island to try the clam dishes such as clam rice, clam noodles.

08:00pm: continue your tour to Dinh Tien Hoang street for favorite cakes Banh Khoai - Nem Lui (Hue specialties spring rolls). You will also have chance to try Hue famous sweet soup and buy some special signature souvenirs such as: sesame candies, conical hats, sour shrimps, long dress (Ao Dai) or Minh Mang wines.

At the end, cyclo take you around streets to explore night lifestyle in Hue at Imperial Citadel, Truong Tien bridge, Perfume River.

09:30pm: tour ends and back to your hotel.

Citadel (Emperors' Purple Forbidden City)
The Imperial City is a walled palace located in the city of Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. The city was made a UNESCO site in 1993. The buildings that still remain are being restored and preserved. So much history contained within these walls!

EXPLORING HUE COUNTRYSIDE BY BIKE

Besides the well-known tourist attractions as royal citadel, imperial tombs, pagodas, etc… Hue owns a peaceful and wonderful countryside resting a lots of traditional handicraft villages. Meeting with craftsmen in the cycling tour will bring you more interesting Hue’s cultural perspectives.



Itinerary:
Hotel pick up to meeting point at 8:00 am and starting tour by boat to the East of Hue city to visit Thanh Tien Village where the local people do gardening to grow vegetable day after day
Then visit Sinh Village, where the famous artist KyHuuPhuoc will show you how to paint rustic paper.
Short time after that you are cycling to Duong No Village to visit this tiny local market where you can try some local foods, continue to explore Duong No village with temple, admiring its ancient architects. Spend time in Ho Chi Minh Memorial House to know about Ho Chi Minh’s history. Walk around and visit old artists making bird cage in the near village. We end our morning at PhapHoa Pagoda in Duong No Village for lunch.
Keep cycling through Ngoc Anh Village to Thanh Toan Bridge - An old bridge built by women in 18th century under Nguyen Dynasty, passing many green rice paddy fields. As on arrival, we visit Agriculture museum to learn more about rural life of Hue people. Tour ends at 16:00 at meeting point.

Thien Mu Pagoda

The pagoda is located at the end of Kim Long Road, in Huong Long Ward, on the northern bank of the Perfume River.There are many legends about Thien Mu Pagoda (also known as Linh Mu Pagoda). Once upon a time, local residents saw an old lady in red appear every night on top of the hill. She foretold that: one day, the Lord would pass by and build something of great importance. From then on, the hill was named Thien Mu Son (Mountain of Lady from Heaven). When Lord Nguyen Hoang actually went pass the hill, he heard the legend and decided to build a pagoda and named it Thien Mu. Having gone through a lot of eventful phase, damages as well as renovations, today the pagoda still exists and remains the unofficial symbol of the ancient city Hue.

HUE CITY FULL DAY GROUP TOUR

Discover the sights and sounds of Hue, the former Imperial capital of Vietnam. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city sits on the banks of the delightful Perfume River, where you will find amazing citadels, fabulous palaces, and royal tombs. Many of the sites can be reached by river, and on this full-day private tour a boat cruise is part of the program.

Itinerary:
At 8:00am: you will be picked up from hotel by your guide then take you down to the river for your cruise. Sail along the romantic Perfume River, seeing Hue’s best-known religious sites Thien Mu Pagoda.

Continue your journey by land, visiting the Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. See the Flag Tower, Noon Gate, 9 Dynastic Urns, 9 Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and the Forbidden Purple City then visit D**g Ba market to see local daily life.

After a break for lunch, continue in the afternoon with a visit to the elaborate tombs of the emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Your guide will give you a deep understanding about the king’s philosophy of geomancy, and how this affected royal life. Then visit the conical hat village and incense stick village to see how is local making thing and what affected to their daily life.

Tour ends at 5:00pm
