We have done successfully- Battle Sites Tour for Mr Carrol Ken returning VIệt Nam after 59 Years
I was stationed in 1967-68 at a place named the "8th Radio Research Field Station." The base was north of the Phu Bai airport on Highway 1. I don't know the distance from the airport, but I believe we were about 10 kilometers south of Hue. The base was right on the highway, e.g., the entrance was to the left on the highway as you head north. The base had a concrete building (the "operations building") and was surrounded by five concrete "star" bunkers, with a mine field between each bunker. There was also a very large antenna filed (Rhombic antennas) to the west, outside the base. I would be interested in seeing the site, or as much of it as I can.
