This is “Tượng Phật Trắng” or White Statue of Buddha – the largest outdoor Buddha statue in Vietnam. The statue was built on the top of a hill at Long Son Pagoda, Nha Trang city in 1964-1965.

Buddhism has continued to play important roles in Vietnam culture. Lots of Vietnamese pray to Buddha when they face extreme difficulties and sufferings.

In the face of the novel coronavirus outbreak all around the world, we pray to Buddha that this will soon pass. But the more important and practical things to do are to wash your hands regularly, wear a mask while in public and minimize unnecessary travel.

Po Nagar Towers - an iconic religious temple in Nha Trang City. They were built by Cham people around between the 7th and 12th centuries to honor Lady Po Nagar, the goddess of the country.

We are so excited that Zannier Hotels will open a holiday resort in our beloved country this year. The resort is located in Phu Yen, 200km north of Nha Trang city and named Bai San Ho (Vietnamese name for Bay of Coral).

The rice is ripening now in our hometown and it's due to harvest next month. Looking at a lush yellow rice field with a beautiful lonely mountain in the backdrop can surely bring you peace and joy.

This rice field locates in Dien Khanh District, Khanh Hoa Province.

Vietnam has 54 ethnic groups, in which Kinh (or Viet) people are the largest and account for 88% of the population. On the occasion of Vietnamese Lunar New Year or Tết, it is a common practice for the Kinh to give gifts to other ethnic minority groups, who often reside in remote and mountainous areas.
