We visited Trang An and Mau Cave with our local tour guide, Thao. She was very informative about explaining the sights we visited and its history. Her English is great which is a plus. We really like Trang An because of its breathtaking scenery and slow pace. On the boat ride, we paddle through caves and made a stop to an island which was the set for King Kong: The Skull Island. That was unexpected surprise. Then, we had a great time learning how to make fried spring rolls with our meal. Our final destination was the Hang Mau Caves. This is truly a beautiful sight. The 500+ steps up to the top is definitely a good exercise for stronger legs :) It might seems intimidating but it’s not bad - even my eighty year mom made it to the top and she did it with Thao accompanying her the entire time while my sister and I racing up the stairs. I can’t thank her enough for an amazing day and I truly appreciate the kind gesture for always making sure my mom is physically fine. Visited May 2018
