Halong bay – Cat Ba island 3D/2N

Day 01: Ha Noi – Bai Tu Long Bay - Ha Long bay - Overnight on Dragon Cruise
- Approximately 07:30 – 07:50 our professional tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel for the 3,5 hour drive through the Red River Delta to the wharf of Halong Bay.
-12:00 – 12:15 Welcome aboard to cruise out to the bay.

- Sit back on the boat restaurant or the sundeck to relax as we cruise past the hundreds of islands and islets of Bai Tu Long Bay area that is lesser traveled by tourist and well-known for its magnificent seascapes
- Cruising and enjoying the first fresh lunch served by Vega’s boat staffs (we can cater you Vegetarian food).
- Turn right to reach the centre of Halong Bay for a visit to its largest cave called Hang Sung Sot (Surprising cave)
- Paddle in our 2-person kayak through a limestone Tunnel Grotto called (Hang Luon) into a lovely lagoon. You may even see wild monkeys playing on the mountain cliffs. Paddle along and through narrow passages to visit the Man head island, Butterfly cave and Horse Neck stone.
- Spend more time swimming from the boat or from your kayak in the emerald waters…
- Anchor in a tranquil lagoon among Bai Tu Long Bay, Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay for dinner and a peaceful night on the boat.

Day 02: Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba Island
- 07:00 Wake up for a new day by walking up 340 constructed terraced steps to the top of Titop Mountain to watch the sunrise over the bay. The 360 degree view is breath-taking from this peak with views of Halong Bay - Bai Tu Long Bay - Lan Ha Bay
- Walk down to Titop beach, a naturally formed sand beach, for a refreshing dip in the bay.
- Afterwards enjoy breakfast on the boat while we cruise towards Lan Ha Bay, Passing by the Pearl farms to listen to our tour guide explaining how the local people here raise and harvest sea pearls.
- Transship to small junk to go into Lan Ha Bay For those whom likes cycling and trekking.
-The junk will approach Cat Ba National Park – Viet Hai dock where we will cycle 30 minutes on the shady path to Viet Hai village, visit and talk to get to know the daily life of the local villagers.
- From the village, we trek for 1,5 hours on a roundabout trail into the park through the cave of bat, discover the tropical forest and the national biosphere of Cat Ba…and over the mountain for universal view of Viet Hai village.
- Afterwards we continue cycling back to the junk. Enjoy lunch on the junk.
- Full afternoon for kayaking: Paddle our kayak around to discover the hidden bay with long tunnel grottoes, quiet lagoons, secluded beaches and visit fishing villages to learn more about the daily life of fishermen…

- Flexible whether you want some relaxing on the junk deck or swim in the emerald waters…,
- Watch the sunset over the bay as we cruise to Cat Ba Island. A small transfer to the hotel from the dock.
- Check in the hotel for a relaxing night. Free time to enjoy Cat Ba by night.

Day 03: Cat Ba Island - Lan Ha bay - Ha Long – Hanoi
- 07:00 check out the hotel and enjoy buffet breakfast.
- Transfer to the dock and take another junk trip though Lan Ha Bay to Halong Bay where we will meet and transfer to our dragon Cruise again.
- Following this inner route will lead you through the most beautiful zone of Halong Bay including the Dog stone, the Fighting C**k islet, the Couple islet, the 3 -Tunnel grotto and the floating fishing villages and fish farms.
- If time and tide permit, we will stop for a while in a peaceful place for relaxation on the boat deck
- Enjoying our last lunch on the boat en-route heading up to Halong wharf
- 11:45 -12:00 pack up and disembark then we continue our land driving trip to Hanoi
- Estimated to arrive in Hanoi between 16:30 – 17:00.
- We will drop you back to your hotels located in the old quarter of Hanoi or drop to Hotel.

HA NOI MOTORBIKE Tour – 1 Day

Overview: This is one day Vietnam motorbike tour around Hanoi and Bac Ninh province. The tour offers several beautiful and traditional villages in Hanoi and the ‘next door’ province of Bac Ninh such as Bat Trang ceramic village, D**g Ho folk painting village and beautiful But Thap pagoda. Just one day motorbike tour to discover the hidden charm of Hanoi and nearby, it is a combination of adventure and relaxing travel. This interesting Hanoi Motorcycle Tour is not suitable to the novices, because the tour passes some busy city roads, so the inexperienced riders or novices had better to join the tour at the back of motorbikes. The tour starts at 8 AM from city center. We motorcycle ahead to the north of Hanoi to ceramic village of Bat Trang ( Bat Trang is the small village to the north of Hanoi, is about 13 kilometers from city center, on the other side of Chuong Duong bridge. Why is its name popular to most tourists to northern Vietnam? The answer is its ever famous ceramic and pottery products of high quality. If you have known about Vietnam, you may not be surprised that Bat Trang’s vases, bowls, dishes, and many other kinds of ceramic products have been exported worldwide. Should you would like to contemplate workers making ceramic products by hand.)

After about 30 minute motorbike ride from Hanoi city center, We will have easy walk around the village to see the daily life of the local people and learn more about how to make ceramic or china here. Then getting back to the bikes, we keep riding to the traditional province of Bac Ninh, have local food for lunch in the casual local restaurant and then have another walk to the famous folk painting village of D**g Ho where the local make the traditional paintings and beautiful pagoda But Thap. NORTH WEST Vietnam’s Mountain Discovery Tour

DETAILS ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi // Mai Chau (Dinner Included) Leaving Hanoi at 7am we head west to Mai Chau. Arriving at about midday we check into the White Thai ethnic minority village. We spend the afternoon relaxing and walking around the village meeting the people. Dinner and overnight stay in the Stilt house enjoying folk songs and dancing together and drinking from the bamboo tube. Overnight stay at village.

Day 2: Mai Chau // Son La (Brekfast, Lunch included) Departing in the morning we say farewell to our village friends and hit the road for Son La. Arriving in the mid afternoon we check into our hotel and have free time to relax or to take a stroll around the town. Son La is the site of an old French penal colony were anticolonial revolutionaries were jailed. Although much of it was destroyed by the US warplanes offloading their unused ammunition during the Vietnam US war, it has been partially restored and along with the little museum makes for interesting viewing. The surrounding area of Son La is home to several Montagnards (Mountain people). The White Thai, Meo, Muong, and Black Thai people. A small display of their handcrafted wares can be seen in the local town market. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3: Son La // Dien Bien Phu (Breakfast and Lunch included) Moving on we head directly west towards Dien Bien Phu, one of the remotest parts of Vietnam. Passing by the villages of the ethnic minority people, The White Thai, Meo, Muong, and the Black Thai we take in the picturesque scenery. Dien Bien Phu is 35km as the crow flies from the Laos border, and is situated in the Muong Thanh Valley. For centuries it has been a major town on the transit route for traders between Myanmar, China and the north of Vietnam, but more recently in May of 1954 it became a place of special significance in the creation of a modern state of Vietnam. It was the site of a decisive battle that led to a 57 day siege of the French garrison and consequential end of the French colonial occupation. The history of Dien Bien Phu is the main attraction here and now being the capital of Lai Chau province the once small town is growing considerably. On the site of the battle there now stands Dien Bien Phu Museum were old French tanks and artillery can be seen along with the re-building of the bunker headquarters of the French commander Colonel Christian de Castries. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4: Dien Bien Phu // Lai Chau (Breakfast and Lunch included) Heading north through Lai Chau province we are confronted by some of Vietnams most spectacular scenery. Nestled in a beautiful valley and surrounded by a magnificent mountain range we enter the small town of Lai Chau. On arrival we check into our hotel and freshen up. Then if so desired we take a drive up the mountain Pha Din. In the local language Pha Din means heaven and earth, and according to the local legend, this area was the frontier between Heaven and Earth. Climbing and descending the slopes with their many bends and deep gorges amid such magnificent scenery is a really enjoyable and interesting trip and makes for some good photos. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5: Lai Chau // Sapa (breakfast and Lunch included) Departing Lai Chau and arriving at Sapa around mid afternoon we check into our hotel, freshen up and have the rest of the day to explore the town and maybe take a short hike up to the lookout over the Sapa Valley. Here there is great shopping for local produce at the towns market, and many handicrafts available from the hill tribes people selling their wares.

Day 6: Sapa // Visit surrounding villages (Breakfast and Lunch included) Breakfast is served at hotel, we take whole day trip Trek through the Sapa valley visiting some of the villages of the colorful Dao hill tribe’s people and returning to the town in the late afternoon. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7: Sapa // Hanoi (Breakfast and Lunch included) After breakfast at 8:30, we then check out hotel and heading back to Hanoi, lunch on the way at a local restaurant in yen Bai. Stops along the road for taking pictures. We reach Hanoi lat afternoon at 4:30 pm. Drop you to your hotel in Hanoi.

THE NORTH EATS TOUR mountainous areas of Ba Be Lake, Cao Bang, Lang Son and near the Chinese border offer breathtaking views and interesting subcultures. It is the least travelled area of the north and attracts hardier travellers craving a glimpse of some of the more remote ethnic minority people.

DETAILS ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi // Thai Nguyen // Ba Be Lake (Lunch & Dinner Included) Pick up at your hotel, As you head out of Hanoi, over the Red River on the Chuong Duong bridge, the suburbs quickly give way to the sprawling farm lands of the Red River Delta. Travel north along Highway 3 to Thai Nguyen for a stop to enjoy a lunch of traditional Vietnamese food. Worth a visit here is the Museum of the Cultures of Vietnams Ethnic Minority Groups. Leaving the delta behind, youll start climbing into the mountainous area of Ba Be National Park. Take a short boat trip (30 minutes) to a Tay village for dinner and home stay in a local house.

Day 2: Explore Ba Be Lake// Cao Bang (Breakfast & Lunch included) After breakfast at village, we will take boat trip along Ba Be Lake and visit Ba Be National Park, The Park surrounded by rugged limestone mountains it is Vietnams only natural mountain lake. This important eco-system is best known for its over 330 species of butterflies! The lush forest clinging to the surrounding mountains is your backdrop as you explore the lake. Reach the end of the lake and stop for a trek to Dau Dang waterfall. Meet your transport, head north through the lush mountain passes to the city of Cao Bang. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 3: Cao Bang // Ban Gioc Waterfall (Breakfast & Lunch included) On this day youll take a scenic in insightful day trip north of Cao Bang to the beautiful Ban Gioc waterfall on the Chinese border. This picturesque, cascading waterfall is 53 meters high and has an impressive span of 300 meters. The drive there offers unique landscapes, limestone karst formations soar from the verdant rice paddies of the surrounding farms of local ethnic minorities. Along the way, you'll see Tay, Hmong and Dzao ethnic minority groups. Heading back to Cao Bang, stop to explore the expansive 2,144 meter Nguom Ngao Cave to discover its brilliant stalactites. Return to Cao Bang and overnight in Hotel.

Day 4: Cao Bang // Lang Son (Breakfast & Lunch included) After breakfast and before departing Cao Bang, consider climbing the hill up to the War Memorial, it offers a great panoramic view of the area. Hop in the car for a ride along famous Highway 4. The road winds its way through steep mountain passes where much of the land remains untouched, the vista views are truly spectacular! Lang Son is the capital of this mountainous area and is an important crossing and trading route with China, the area is home to Dzao, Man, Tho and Nung ethnic minority groups. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 5: Lang Son // Hanoi (Breakfast & Lunch included) As a trading post, Lang Son has two markets worth visiting, the Old Market and the D**g Kinh Market. Youll find everything from electronics and gadgets to textiles and house wares. Its definitely buyer beware, as theres lots of knock-offs of the original. If the markets arent your thing then just a couple of kilometers from town are two large, beautiful caves and the ruins of the Mac Dynasty Citadel worth a visit. Tam Thanh Cave contains a pond and offers great views of the surrounding farmlands. Nhi Thanh Cave, formed by the river that flows through it, has poems carved into the entrance by the man who discovered the cave in the 18th century. After your morning of exploration its time for lunch and prepare for the trip back to Hanoi. The highway from Lang Son is a modern 4 lane divided highway that quickly carries down from the mountains, back onto the Red River Delta and into Hanoi. Trip ends in Hanoi.
