PHU QUOC CITY TOUR TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Meet our representative at your hotel lobby and get ready to explore Phu Quoc island. Make the 1st visit at Dinh Cau, the small temple situated on the high rock at the estuary where the local worships the god of the sea. Walk around the biggest local market to see how busy of the local life as well as the local products including the vegetables, many types of fish and poultry. Then swing your way to Hung Quoc Tu pogoda which is well-known by its charity activities, it provides the complimentary the traditional medicine and aacupuncture treatment to the local. Continue to discover two main products of Phu Quoc: pepper and fish sauce by visiting one of the largest fish sauce factories on the island to see how this pungent condiment is made from fermented fish in huge vats then follow by a pepper farm to understand the process of growing this spice of which Vietnam is the world’s leading exporter. Conclude your tour at Cao Dai temple, founded in the early 20th century and indigenous to Vietnam, Cao Dai is a fusion of elements from Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism, with some aspects of Christianity and Islam. Guests are welcome into the temple to observe the colourful midday ceremony (subject to availability) and guest can climb up the balcony which affords a great view. Return to your hotel.
