Vung Tau - Xom Luoi Market (Seafood)

Xom Luoi is the most famous market in VungTau. At the place close to front beach, we can see a short street (200m) with many shops & stalls on pavements. There are masses of fresh seafood such as octopus, shrimp, crab, fishes,... with lowest prices and we can feel the crowed environment.

With $20 each person, you can buy some Mantis shrimp (200gr of midle size), crab (300gr/ea), fan lobster (300gr) and lot of scallop,...

Hope you will get a memorable moment here!

VungTau - secret road to Hon Ba Temple (Archi-nard Island - French name).

There is a temple on the separate land of VungTau.

Almost time we see it look like an island with waves around so locals call that island. At the special moments when the tide is lowest in month, a stones road will be appeared then we can go to the temple by walk. (we can check the tide chart of Vung Tau on this site: http://tides.mobilegeographics.com/locations/6807.html).

Hon Ba Temple is a worship place of Nereid (Thủy Thần Long Nữ), the locals believe Neried will protect them against storms and support them on each sailing to ocean.
