Savaii never disappoints! Huge shoutout to Amoa Resort for always ensuring that not only our guests have a great time, but our staff as well. While touring Savaii with a group of 32pax, we stayed at 📍Amoa Resort for a couple of nights!

From the warm welcome with cold vaitipolos, refreshing face towels, and the beautiful singing—it’s the little things that make a difference. Malo lava 😊

For just a few days, your weekend visit is never complete unless you attend a Church service to hear all the beautiful singing. As Islanders, to’onai is Family time- and we were fortunate to share a delicious toonai with the village & mayor of Faga. Fa’afetai lava to our Amoa family for organising this.

Nestled in the heart of Savai'i, the Saleaula Lava Fields are a captivating reminder of Samoa’s rich history and volcanic activity. Formed after a series of eruptions in the early 1900s, these fields are an awe-inspiring sight, with hardened black lava stretching across the landscape for miles.

One of the most iconic remnants in this area is the ruins of the Saleaula LMS Church, which was buried by the lava flow. The church's remains, standing in stark contrast against the volcanic backdrop, offer a powerful symbol of resilience and the passage of time. You can still see the outline of the church walls, forever marking the site of a significant chapter in Samoan history.

Saturday, our Croquet Group 2 had an amazing time filled with fun, culture, and a little friendly competition! The day kicked off with a few lively rounds of croquet, where skills and laughter were on full display.

Afterward, the group ventured to the stunning Tiapapata Art Centre for an inspiring tour. From breathtaking artworks to the serene atmosphere, the experience was nothing short of magical.

The highlight of the day? The umu demonstration, where everyone got a glimpse (and taste!) of traditional cooking techniques. It was a perfect way to connect with culture and enjoy some delicious food.

Celebrating Croquet Group 1 and Welcoming Group 2! 😊

Just a week ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming Croquet Group 1 to the tournament. Over the past several days, they delivered an incredible display of skill, determination, and teamwork. Yesterday morning, we bid them farewell with gratitude for their amazing efforts and unforgettable performances.

As one chapter closes, another begins! We were thrilled to welcome Croquet Group 2 yesterday, and we can’t wait to see the energy and talent they bring to the field. This group promises to keep the momentum going with exciting matches ahead.

What an incredible journey it has been celebrating the sport of croquet! A newly introduced sport in Samoa!! A huge thank you to everyone who made this event not just possible, but truly extraordinary.

First, our deepest gratitude to David and Michelle of Go See Touring— your dedication and seamless planning brought this event to life, creating memories we’ll treasure forever.

A big shoutout to the Ministry Of Sports and Recreation: Samoa Sports Facility Authority for providing a world-class venue that showcased croquet in the best light possible.

To our Autobots Transport Samoa’s Managing Director, Tootooleaava Mark Wendt, and our dynamic Manager of Operations & Tour, Ado, thank you both for ensuring every detail was handled with precision, from logistics to hospitality. Your leadership and passion truly set the tone for success.

But the event wouldn’t have been the same without the stunning sites that took our guests breath away while on tour

A huge thanks to the Tiapapata Art Centre for their cultural showcase of exquisite handicrafts, giving our guests a taste of Samoa’s rich artistic traditions on Saturday! Faafetai!
