September brought us two wonderful groups from Sweden! 🇸🇪⛰️

From the Accursed Mountains to the Sharr Mountains, we had the great pleasure of spending two weeks together—hiking, exploring, sharing stories and showing them the beauty of our mountains.

We are very happy to have started our collaboration with the Swedish market last year and to see it growing, bringing more people to discover our trails and our home.

Thank you for the beautiful days together.

It’s hard to put into words seven days of trail running through the Peaks of the Balkans with dear Karen. ❤️
Theth, Valbonë, Cerem, Dobërdol, Kuqishtë, Milishec, Gacafer, Babino Polje, Plav and Vuthaj — every trail, village, guesthouse and shared moment reminded us why we love these mountains and feel so lucky to call the Balkans home.

Karen has spent more than 20 years chasing trails and adventures around the world, completing close to 100 events and 16 self-supported stage races. Sharing the trail with someone with that much experience was a joy — but even more special were the stories, laughter and friendships along the way.

We’re grateful to have shared this journey with Karen and to have shown her a little piece of the Balkans we love so much. ❤️

And the best part? We’re doing it again. And again. And again.

We are very happy to have started working with the Swedish tour operators.

This milestone comes after a long journey of hard work, many meetings, and a shared vision to connect Swedish travelers with the natural beauty and rich culture of Kosovo. We are truly grateful to FEGO and the for supporting us in participating in Travel News Stockholm and helping us build this valuable connection.

This initiative was carried out in cooperation with Go Active Travel whose partnership has been invaluable in creating authentic outdoor experiences and strengthening this collaboration with the Swedish market.

We look forward to welcoming more Swedish visitors to experience the best of Kosova through active and authentic adventures.

From Australia to the wild peaks of Kosovo. 🇦🇺🏔️

Jeff and Jo recently joined our UIMLA guide Uta on a 5-day Via Dinarica adventure through the Accursed Mountains. Together, they crossed high mountain passes, discovered alpine lakes, reached the summit of Gjeravica—the highest peak in Kosovo—and experienced the warm hospitality of local mountain guesthouses along the way.

More than just a hiking tour, the Via Dinarica is a journey through breathtaking landscapes, rich traditions, and unforgettable encounters.
