🚨JUST IN

Burkina Faso’s leader, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, has publicly congratulated U.S. President Donald Trump for cracking down on the practice of some Africans traveling to the United States to give birth so their children can obtain American citizenship, according to AES INFO, citing the state news agency AIB.

Traoré, the interim president of Burkina Faso and current president of the Alliance of Sahel States, said:

“I congratulate Donald Trump, who has put an end to the practices of certain Africans consisting of having their wives give birth in the United States in order to obtain American nationality for their children.”

The remarks, reported Friday by AES INFO with official photographs of Traoré at a public ceremony, come as Washington has tightened rules against so-called birth tourism traveling on a visitor visa primarily to deliver a child on U.S. soil. The Trump administration has used visa screening, embassy crackdowns and new executive measures after the Supreme Court earlier this year blocked a broader attempt to end birthright citizenship for children of people in the country illegally or only temporarily.

U.S. missions in Africa have already warned that visas can be refused if the main purpose of travel appears to be giving birth in America. An American embassy in West Africa said this year it had dismantled a birth-tourism network involving more than 100 foreign nationals using fraudulent documents and “fixers.”

Traoré’s comments stand out because relations between Ouagadougou and Washington have often been tense, including reciprocal visa restrictions after Burkina Faso was added to a U.S. travel-ban list.

In the same remarks, Traoré also announced a domestic industrial target:

“If it pleases God, by the end of the year we will build a shoe manufacturing factory.”

The pledge fits his government’s push to process more raw materials at home. This week he inaugurated TEXFORCES-BF, a state-financed textile complex near Bobo-Dioulasso meant to turn Burkinabè cotton into uniforms, T-shirts and socks instead of exporting the fiber and importing finished clothes. Traoré has framed that plant as a “message” of sovereignty, not just a factory.

🚨 RECLAIMING THE MIND: BURKINA FASO LAUNCHES REVOLUTIONARY PATRIOTIC CAMP FOR YOUTH! 🇧🇫🔥

A powerful educational shift is taking root across West Africa as nearly 1,500 schoolchildren gather in Ouagadougou for the Faso Mêbo 2026 Holiday Camp. Organized simultaneously across all six military regions, this 10-day national program is dedicated to grounding the nation's youth in strict discipline, civic duty, patriotism, and sovereign values to raise a generation fully aware of its heritage and responsibilities.

What makes this program a major milestone is its radical approach to identity, explicitly teaching students the history of Burkina Faso and the global African diaspora strictly from an African perspective. For decades, colonial curricula dominated classrooms; today, Burkina Faso is actively rewriting that narrative to build unshakeable self-worth, pride, and psychological independence directly inside the hearts of its youngest citizens.

The core mandate delivered to these young patriots is clear: educate yourself, master your history, take pride in your roots, and actively participate in building your nation. Under the vision of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, true sovereignty extends far beyond military defense and economic self-reliance—it begins by liberating the minds of the next generation before foreign narratives can shape them.

This holiday camp serves as a powerful blueprint for the entire continent as the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) continues to dismantle foreign influence. From mandatory civic immersion programs to patriot-driven youth camps, Africa is proving that true national security and long-term prosperity are impossible without a deeply conscious, self-reliant population.

Africa's future is actively being shaped inside these training camps and classrooms. Should every African country adopt this model by teaching African-centered history, patriotism, and practical skills in basic schooling? Comment YES or NO below 👇 and SHARE this post to spark the conversation across the continent! ✊🏿
