Update from the HB Turtle Patrol - The Holden Beach Turtle Patrol reports that we're about halfway through the sea turtle season. On a beautiful moonlit night this past Tuesday night several members and visitors were fortunate to see a momma loggerhead lay her nest. This was nest #26. There are currently 27 turtle nests on the beach. The first of these nests are expected to hatch within the next week.

The Turtle Patrol continues to offer Children's Turtle Time and Turtle Talk on Wednesday throughout July at the Holden Beach Chapel.

This coming week visit with Turtle Patrol Members at the Sunday evening concert on July 13. The HBTP will be the recipients of the 50/50 raffle this week. HBTP members will also be out early morning on July 19 picking up trash on a Beach Sweep.

It is always so exciting to have our first nest!!

Yeah!!! Our first nest on Holden Beach. Not one but two nests this morning.

My grandparents taught me the fun in looking at shapes in the clouds. On yesterday’s walk, the Lord showed me the shapes in the sand :) I hope you can see them too :)
