My last stop was Simply “ Splendide” from the moment you step foot into this hotel you feel the luxury Splendid Rome. The staff is so welcoming, the rooms are beautifully decorated and all are of a generous size.
Be sure to catch the stunning views while you have a appretivo at the
Mixology Lounge a rooftop experience offering panoramic jaw dropping views at sunset. Afterwards have dinner at Mirabelle with a gorgeous extensive w**e selection & delicious food.

Equally as beautiful be sure to check out their sister property Parco dei Principi positioned right near the stunningly beautiful Borghese Gardens & Galleria. Both properties part of the very impressive Roberto Naldi Collection. A family with a long hotel tradition, priding themselves on finding the perfect balance of timeless and modern classic. Always positioned in a prestigious location, offering luxury services coupled with fine dining.

The Prince Spa found at Parco, is an outstanding full service spa with a very extensive gym. After our spa experiences we had an appretivo Giò Giò Rooftop, just fantastic food & drinks.

Our 3rd stay was at the stunning Palazzo Misciattelli. This 3 apartment residence, is truly a 5 star hotel experience with all the comforts of being in a apartment space, exclusively for ages 12 and over.

Arrigo and Ellen Misciattelli Bernardini, instantly make you feel as you are a guest in their home. Attention to every detail, personal touches everywhere, from the hand sewn & embroidered Egyptian cotton sheets made in Orvieto to the fresh flowers

An aristocratic family rooted in Umbria for centuries, including Pope Leo Xll.
As dual American and Italian citizens, with deep roots in Orvieto, they truly understand the expectations of international guests and they check off every box beautifully!

Ellen & Arrigo arranged a fabulous tour of Orvieto with of course the Duomo being the highlight, fantastic meals all around Orvieto. You can visit & buy olive oil from their family grove or be sure to try the homemade w**e, Arrigo’s Nonna’s recipe. Maybe just stay awhile in their garden and pick up a copy of Ellen’s published book. All of it will leave you feeling refreshed, relaxed and very much taken care of.
