We’ve had a busy few days, first off, spending time at The Bush Camp Chiang Mai, a unique luxury glamping retreat set on the banks of the Ping River, surrounded by mountain views and beautiful Northern Thai countryside. Here you can enjoy an ethical, hands-off elephant experience, learning about and observing the elephants in their natural environment while supporting responsible tourism and conservation.

Our next stop a couple of nights relaxing in Chiang Dao at The Rice, surrounded by lush rice paddies and breathtaking views of Doi Luang Chiang Dao. It’s the perfect place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and soak up the beauty of rural Northern Thailand. It wasn’t all relaxing though, yesterday was discovering the stunning landscapes of Chiang Dao on a guided trekking adventure. From scenic mountain trails and waterfalls to tea plantations and local hill tribe culture, experiencing the beauty of Northern Thailand.

🇹🇭 Six months already!
Today marks six months since we arrived in Chiang Mai and started our new life in Thailand.

Living in a new country is very different from being on holiday, and it hasn’t always been plain sailing, but we're still absolutely loving the experience.

While making the most of everything Thailand has to offer, I’ve also been busy continuing to grow my travel business, helping clients plan and book their own dream holidays around the world. It's been great combining my passion for travel with life here in Southeast Asia.

Over the past six months we've explored the mountains of Doi Inthanon, Doi Suthep and Chiang Dao, relaxed on the beaches of Koh Samui, discovered the local culture in places like Mae Kampong, Lampang and Lamphun, and visited the ancient cities of Sukhothai and Ayutthaya.

A train trip to Bangkok brought back plenty of memories, while Hanoi 🇻🇳 was another real highlight, with its incredible food, culture and scenery.

Six months have flown by, and there's still so much more of Thailand and Southeast Asia to discover.
