Each chalet is privately owned and although they are all the same size no two are the same inside. Step into Chalet 225 and there is a Kitchen Area with Cooker, Hob and Fridge.
On your left is a double bedroom area with comfy Bed crisp white bedding and a soft towel supplied for every guest. The Living area has a comfy king-size sofa bed and there is a small single bed for our little guests. We have a modern smart TV and wall heaters making it nice and cosy on the cooler days. There is also a toilet and washroom. Whilst we don’t have a shower the site offers a clean warm and very good shower block which is to the rear of the chalet a short walk away.
Outside we have to the front a seating area where you can while away the hours with a large green area to enjoy and access to the private sandy beach. To the rear there are views of Duster Castle and in the summer months you can see and hear the stream train pass by on the West Somerset Railway line. There is also a large, fenced lake and a tennis court. We provide a large outdoor table and comfy chairs where you can sit and enjoy the sunshine from early in the morning till late in the evening.
Our 4-legged friends are not left out as we are dog friendly accommodation and have a safe and secure fenced patio area. There are several wonderful walks in the area including a nature reserve. Dogs must be kept on leads unless on the sandy beach.

Our story...
The family have enjoyed holidays at Dunster Beach for well over 50 years. We are lucky enough to have shared a lifetime of Memories through three generations.
Dunster Beach offers a magical experience from the moment you drive onto the beach front and are met with the breath-taking views of the West Somerset coastline.
You will arrive at the gated entrance to the Chalets with its private beach and wooded walkways. This is the time for you to you Switch off, kick back and enjoy the old-fashioned traditional values of family holidays
We are dog friendly, and your 4-legged friends are well catered for with wonderful walks and a lovely Sandy Beach. There is an annual dog show where we have fond memories of our 18-year-old collie winning the best in show.
There are no Bright lights, Bars or forced entertainment. Just simplicity in beautiful surroundings.
It’s an amazing place to enjoy time together. Our own children, who are now young adults have spent hours safely learning to ride bikes, exploring and making friendships which have lasted a lifetime….

Dunster Beach is unforgettable, unique, and probably one of the most memorable places you will ever holiday.
