Update on the Burst Water Line:

The bathroom and main floor have upgrades, thanks to the burst pipes! We have beautiful wood flooring on the main level and a new bathroom vanity. It is something we have been wanting to do and this was a good time to do it. We hope you all like it!

Unfortunately, we had a burst water line in the downstairs bathroom recently. We've blocked off the next several weeks on our booking calendar for repairs. The good news is we already have the bathroom demo'd and the carpeting in the living room has been pulled up and disposed of - we hope to be back in business by March 13th.

Thanks to our maintenance man, carpenter, jack-of-all-trades Scott Tyson, we are well on our way to having our front deck project completed. After waiting a spell for the wood to dry, we'll stain it and add the same powder-coated railings we have on the back deck. If you get tired of the river view off the back decks, you can settle in here and watch the deer and turkeys in the neighboring pasture land!

Thanks to Izard County Heating & Cooling, we can cross off the first of the projects from our "2021 To Do" list. We have updated the heating/cooling system for the downstairs bedroom and laundry room. These two areas will have a separate thermostat from the central unit which controls the temperature in the rest of the cottage. We want to make our guests as comfortable as possible. Next up..........new deck on the front of the cottage!
