🚦 In Wernigerode, Germany, you'll be reminded of local folklore even as you cross the road.
Nestled in Germany’s mystical Harz Mountains, Wernigerode is close to the Brocken, a mountain steeped in witchcraft folklore. Legend has it that witches would gather there on the night of 30th April to dance with the devil and welcome the arrival of spring. 🧙♀️
That centuries-old legend lives on in the town’s witch and devil traffic lights – a quirky nod to local folklore you can spot all year round!
👀 So, what do you think? Are these the world’s most fun traffic lights?🚦
