🌋 A Day of Volcanoes, History & Discovery in Rabaul! 🇵🇬

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of taking two guests from Australia on an unforgettable journey through Rabaul, combining adventure, history and World War II heritage.

Our day began with the Mt Tavurvur Volcano Hike, where we climbed across the dramatic volcanic landscape and experienced the raw power of one of Rabaul’s active volcanoes. 🌋

We then explored some of Rabaul’s most significant historical sites, including the Admiral Yamamoto Bunker, Rabaul Volcanological Observatory (RVO), the fascinating Japanese Barge Tunnel & Underground Hospital, and finally the peaceful Bitapaka War Cemetery.

From volcanic landscapes to wartime history, it was a full day of discovery, stories and unforgettable experiences.
