Who knew Japan was famous for...

KitKats! 🤗 🍫

As well as visiting to see the blossom trees, or snow monkeys and temples, you can go to Japan to see the KitKats - there are over 300 regional and seasonal variations with flavours including sake, soy sauce and strawberry cheesecake.

They are given to students for good luck and also for sending personal messages as each KitKat has a small blank space on the back for you to fill in.

Drainspotting in Japan is a thing! 🤩

When you join us in Japan, don't forget to look down. Our 2027 tours visit the bucket list cities of Tokyo, Kyoto, Hakone and Hiroshima, but it's the small things you spot that make it such a great place to visit.

These artistic manhole covers started in 1977 as a way of changing how the public saw the new sewers in the country but they've now become a cultural movement across Japan.

🍁🍂 Today - 22nd September - is officially the first day of Fall.

So we thought we'd share some beautiful pictures taken by our guest, Tracy who shared these with us on her New England tour last year.

“I wanted to see the vibrant seasonal colours of New England in the fall along with the stunning scenery. Nature at its best.

I enjoy walking in nature, so this tour was good as it incorporated hikes to local places of beauty to see the fall foliage and waterfalls. I loved the jagged coastline with the iconic New England lighthouses and fishing harbours." 🍁
