Would you choose micro village details or local larger scale historic attractions ?
Which is of most interest to you as a guest?

In our immediate village vicinity there is much to discover on foot, including the grave of a cricketing hero and curious wild creatures (look closely at the photos!). We also have buried Roman remains, Battle of Britain radar station, a rare medieval poor box and a priory of the Knights Templar era!

Just up the road in Arundel there is the massive castle and cathedral, WWT Wetlands, quaint streets, a coaching inn and fascinating shops & pubs.

So which would most attract you to book at Potters Edge? The village or the town?

Where would you choose to visit whilst staying at cosy Potters Edge? There is so much to do all year round!

These stylish pictures are part of a framed set displayed near your comfy bed, so you can peacefully dream of days out, or have a lie-in and plan your next outing!

🍦🏄 🪁Selsey has an old fashioned seaside vibe with stunning views stretching between Pagham Harbour and Selsey Bill. From September, the crowds disappear and it is a great spot, in all weathers, to visit the lifeboat station or relax, walk, paddle, fly kites or enjoy a warming drink (or ice-cream?);

🏇🏁🏎️ Goodwood (Chichester) is high on the South Downs, where adrenaline fans enjoy horse and motor racing events throughout the year. The historic circuit and race track can be explored anytime and cosy refreshment stops will warm you!

⚓️🍁☕️Bosham village edges beautiful Chichester harbour. Stroll past sailing boats or quaint streets and surrounding woodland. Buy gifts in the arcade then enjoy a cosy fireside meal or drink.
BUT please park carefully as foolish drivers ignore signs near the shore, and then find their car might be stranded ( or drowned!) at high tide 😱

Pick a date and book soon. Autumn/winter prices start @ £80 per night. We can’t wait to welcome you!
