Welcome to the official Myra Canyon Bike Rental page! In 1910, Andrew McCulloch began construction of the Kettle Valley Railway that would connect the Kootenays to the BC coast. Although there were many hardships, the railway was completed in 1916. It soon became known as McCulloch's Wonder due to the extraordinary engineering involved in its construction. ire destroyed 12 wooden trestles and damaged 2 steel trestles. March 21, 2008 the restoration was complete opening the route from the Myra Station entrance to the Ruth Station. Every year, over 60,000 visitors enjoy the spectacular Myra Canyon trail. This highly-scenic portion of the Kettle Valley Railway (KVR) runs along a steep-walled canyon. This impressive landmark is highlighted by 2 tunnels and 18 trestles. Have fun cycling all, or part of this well established 24 km circuit (12 km each way). The route can easily be cycled in 4 hours at a moderate pace with plenty of opportunity for photos and short breaks. We offer also a guided or self guided Tours inclusive transportation from and to your accommodation in Kelowna and West Kelowna. Half day Tour Myra Canyon Trestle Tour and day Tour Bike and Wine or Bike from Kelowna to Penticton the Kettle Valley Railway ending in Winery with wine tasting. We are located at the east car park (Myra Station) accessed via McCulloch Road and Myra Forest service road. We are the first and only company to offer the convenience of on-site bicycle rentals. Our new quality branded comfort bikes are available in a variety of sizes to cater for adults and youths. All rentals include the free use of a safety helmet. The bicycles are fully maintained and serviced on a daily basis. Morning and all day rental reservations are to be picked up at 9.00 and afternoon rental reservations at 13.30 at the Myra Station. It is best to make sure you reserve your bikes, you can do this by phone or through our website. It is possible however to rent without a reservation if there are bikes available. We are open seven days a week from 9.00 – 17.30. From May 6 2022 till October 10 2022

Enjoy a bicycle ride along the historic Kettle Valley Railway in the Myra Canyon!
The well-maintained trail includes 18 trestles and 2 tunnels. Each trestle has been fitted with new boards and a widened pathway.
A smooth and flat trail offers a leisurely ride with stunning views overlooking Kelowna and the valley!
More space on the trestles will allow for easier navigation and sharing of the pathways with other cyclists and pedestrians.
But always remember: pedestrians and anybody riding on the trestles have right of way, get off your bike and wait if you can’t pass the trestles safely.

From regular bicycles to E-bikes and children’s bike equipment — we’ve got the perfect ride for you.
Which bike will you choose for your ride through the Myra Canyon?
The trail is flat and well maintained, ideal for a leisurely ride on our well-maintained regular bicycles. If you wish some extra assistance, we have quite a few E-bikes (high quality brand Gazelle) as well!
Additionally, we offer children’s bicycle equipment (tag-alongs, kids’ bikes, children’s trailers) and special equipment such as a tricycle and tandem.
Come and enjoy the Myra Canyon on our rental bicycles, riding the whole trail from one end to the other and the same way back (24km round-trip). Get to see all 18 trestles and 2 tunnels while enjoying the stunning views over the canyon into the valley, overlooking Kelowna.

Now is your chance to ride like royalty! Introducing our limited fleet of E-Bikes.

After many requests, we have decided to add a small fleet of E-bikes. As there is no opportunity to Charge the Bikes at the myra Station Parking lot, all E-Bike Rentals have to be reserved in Advance.

What Makes the Ride so Royal? Gazelle has been building bikes in the Netherlands since 1892, so on their 100th Anniversary in 1992 they were awarded their “Royal” title by Princess Margriet of the Netherlands. Your bike will have front suspension, 10 speeds, a comfortable upright position and a Bosch performance line Pedal assist motor to allow you to Glide along the Trail.

Why only Pedal assist? As per BC Parks regulations, the Myra Canyon only allows Class 1 pedal assist Ebikes. The multiple modes allow you to choose the level of assistance you prefer. The beauty of the pedal assist is that you still get some exercise as you roll over 18 bridges and through 2 tunnels.

What are the rental options?
Our E-bikes can be added to any half day tour for $30/bike or to our Penticton tour for $50 per bike.

Onsite Rentals will be available by reservations only. Reservations must be made at least 48hrs in advance, rental blocks will be 9AM-12PM and 1-4PM, Rental rate will be $78/bike for the 3 hour block.

Are there any Rules?
More power comes with more responsibility! So for our E-Bikes, they will be limited to renters and riders at least 19yrs of age and older. All of our Ebikes will require an ID Check and Security Deposit. Given the Speed the Ebike is capable of, they can NOT be combined with any attachment!

Great News! We are able to offer full-day bicycle tours from Myra Canyon to Penticton again!
BC Parks just recently announced the opening of the trail past Myra Canyon towards Penticton. Previously closed due to a landslide, it is now once more open to unmotorized vehicles.
With the opening of the trail, we are now again offering the self-guided full-day bicycle tour from Myra Canyon to Penticton.
We pickup in Kelowna or West Kelowna right at your accommodation, provide transportation with our vans to the Myra Canyon and will meet you after the bicycle tour and a complimentary wine tasting in Penticton for the return transportation.
The minimum group size for this tour is 4 people, but we encourage smaller groups to reach out to us as we keep a wait list to combine people if possible.

Upgraded trestles! New boards and widened pathways have been installed on all the 18 trestles at Myra Canyon.
Look at the “before” and “after” pictures. More space on the trestles will allow for easier navigation and sharing of the pathways with other cyclists and pedestrians.
