[ ] Le 16 décembre 1946, Christian Dior inaugure au 30 avenue Montaigne sa maison de couture, avec l’appui de l’industriel Marcel Boussac. Il confie la décoration de l'atelier à Victor Grandpierre qui modernise cet hôtel particulier en privilégiant la sobriété et l'élégance. Cet endroit est, dans les mots du couturier : "Un bureau de rêve et un refuge pour des choses merveilleuses." Aujourd’hui, il continue d’inspirer les créateurs de la maison.
