As darkness falls on Samhain, an old Irish tradition reminds us to light a candle or lantern in the window for those who have gone before us.

A moment to remember the people we miss, speak their names, share their stories and keep their memories alive.

Though they may no longer walk beside us, they will always have a place in our hearts.

Because no one is ever truly gone while they are remembered. ❤️

There’s no single schedule everyone must follow. Traditions differ, and it’s okay to celebrate in a way that feels meaningful to you.

I’m a breath witch, so for me, it begins with a quiet breath and a moment to be present. A candle, a loving memory, a little stillness—that can be enough.
