Our Story
We started Amazing Vacations Costa Rica as a way to help a group of Native Costa Rican kayakers have an opportunity of a better life and the ability to have their own company that allows them to share their love of paddling the local rivers with people from all over the world.
Our experienced team of local guides have been taking kayakers from all over the world down their rivers of Costa rica for more than 10 years. Most of our guides are ACA trained and if you’ve kayaked in Costa Rica in the past 10 years, you probably had a chance to paddle with and know our guides.
This amazing team of guides had dreams of creating new travel options for kayakers to new rivers so that if someone had been to Costa Rica paddling with them, they could experience new rivers. Their goal was to create reasons for their friends to come back year after year. We’ve purchased a brand new fleet of 2018 kayaks so if you join them, you’ll have your choice of more than a dozen boats to paddle during the week.
The Costa Rican team has a partnership with a team in the United States that will provide them with the support they need to be successful and continue to grow their offerings and business.
