For aficionados of w**e, visiting distinguished w**e regions like Stellenbosch, Paarl, and Franschhoek is essential.
Our exploration began at Simonsig W**e Estate, acclaimed for its Cap Classique, followed by a comparison of large and small w**eries at Mitre's Edge W**e Estate, where their outstanding Viognier was much appreciated.
Our final stop was at Vergenoegd Low Vineyards, one of the oldest w**eries and home to the celebrated Pinotage. While it didn't suit my taste, the experience was nonetheless memorable.
