Winter sun and cosy evenings
A super quick trip to prepare for our guests arriving today but I just didn’t want to leave.

It’s a lovely place whichever season and we were very fortunate to avoid the biggest wrath of Storm Darragh but the trees over the road up the hill look like ‘pick up sticks’.

Took my sketchbook but ended up pottering and thinking instead- it’s true what they say about needing ‘vitamin sea’ .

Thinking ahead to Spring Sundays in this cottage by the sea on the Ceredigion coast and waking up to the sound of the river and birdsong. Time definitely goes slower there.

Now that Spring has sprung and we have more daylight to do the farm chores. We will be open more days and longer hours. Our website is nearly ready to launch too.

Flashback to last summer - the cottage peeking through the ferns and foliage. Hoping that the guests celebrating their honeymoon there at the moment are having a wonderful time 🤍. Many of our guests who stay potter through the woods to join the spectacular Ceredigion Coast Path near Cwmtydu.

Looking back at the posts you’ve liked the most in 2022 of our little Welsh coastal cottage. Hoping that the New Year brings peace and hope for all.
