THE ROOF OF AFRICA BULLIED: THE MOUNTAIN WE FACE 🎬

18 months of hard work, passion and purpose came together on Monday night at Battersea Power Station Cinema for the red carpet premiere of our documentary.

What started as a climb up Kilimanjaro for Coram Kidscape became something so much bigger, a story about hope, connection, community and the fight against bullying.

I’m incredibly proud that the climb, fundraising events and premiere have now raised over £126,000 for Coram Kidscape. ❤️

And there was more…

🏆 Josh Braid , Ollie Keune and Samuel Wood set a Guinness World Record for the fastest Sea-to-Summit ascent of Kilimanjaro.

For Find Your Summit and me, this project is deeply personal. We were both bullied growing up and know the impact it can have long after the bullying stops.

Huge thanks to our climbers, Kidscape, Bright Cause | Ideas, Partnerships & Impact , Uncharted Summits, Dale Reubin , our sponsors, the Tanzania ground team and everyone who helped bring this story to life.

The mountain was Kilimanjaro.

But the mountain we were really trying to climb was bullying.

And we’re only just getting started.

For us, it’s personal. 🧡

We’ve just hit a Quarter of a MILLION!

When we started Uncharted Summits, we set ourselves a goal... We’ve set a target to help charities in raising much needed funds through with innovative and life-changing personal challenges .

Our goal: To raise £1 million within 5 years of our inception across the charities we work with.

In the current climate where pressure on grants and aid has never been more difficult, we knew this would test our resolve and drive.
‍
We’re meeting the challenge head-on and winning.

Within the first 2 1/2 years of Uncharted Summits we’ve helped raise a total of £258,806
‍
We bring a unique and personal approach to helping you raise funds, engaging with your donor base and providing those who choose to, an experience of a lifetime. With an extensive network on multiple social media platforms, expertise in marketing your charities brand, and exposure both before, during and after your climb, we work as your partner in bringing participants into the challenge and supporting them in raising those vital funds.

Why have we been so ambitious? Supporting your causes is personal to us. Humanity and dignity are fundamental rights of every person on the planet and we are driven to help.

Because for US, it’s personal.

Causes we have supported:

Hope❤️4 | Charity No. 1144362 - fighting poverty, human trafficking, conflict and natural disaster,

Poppys Light Foundation - Supporting Young Cardiac Health.

Coram Kidscape - Help with Bullying.

Fertility Action - Everyone deserves the chance to build a family.

Anthony Nolan - Saving lives through stem cells.

Colostomy UK - Because every stoma journey matters

If you’re looking for a charity challenge to support your cause, please get in touch by dropping us a message. We’d love to talk about your cause and how we can help.

🏔️ National Three Peaks Challenge... Complete!

This weekend Uncharted Summits, Find Your Summit and had the privilege of facilitating the National Three Peaks Challenge in under 24 hours in support of Fertility Action

The mountains threw everything at us: wind, rain, delays, exhaustion, injuries, and for some, the final summit remained out of reach.

But that’s the thing about challenges... they’re not about perfection, they’re about perseverance.

Every person who stepped onto those mountains this weekend reached their own personal summit.

The greatest achievement wasn’t the finish line, it was the courage, resilience, support, and community we shared along the way.

Listening to everyone’s fertility journey was incredibly humbling. Their stories and determination to fight for better awareness, access to treatment, equality, and mental health support were truly inspiring.

Together, we’ve now raised over £31,000 (and counting!) to help make a real difference.

Never stop believing in your vision.
Keep showing up.
Keep climbing.

Congratulations to every single person who took part, you should all be incredibly proud. 💙

Could you climb Kilimanjaro?

Most people immediately answer:
“No chance.”

But here’s the truth…
You don’t need to be an athlete.
You don’t need mountaineering experience.
You don’t need to have climbed a mountain before.

Let’s bust a few myths:

MYTH #1: You have to be super fit.
Reality: Kilimanjaro is a trek, not a technical climb. Success is far more about consistency, mindset, and preparation than being able to run a marathon.

MYTH #2: Younger people have a better chance.
Reality: We’ve seen people in their 20s and people in their 60s stand together on the summit. Altitude doesn’t care about your age—it rewards patience.

MYTH #3: You need expensive gear.
Reality: Quality matters, but you don’t need to spend thousands. Much of what you need can be borrowed, hired, or purchased gradually.

MYTH #4: The hardest part is the mountain.
Reality: The biggest challenge is altitude. That’s why we always say:
“Pole pole” (slowly, slowly).

The summit isn’t won by the fastest. It’s won by those who pace themselves.
💪 How should you prepare?
✔️ Walk regularly.
✔️ Build time on your feet.
✔️ Include hills and stairs.
✔️ Strengthen your legs and core.
✔️ Train with a backpack.
✔️ Get comfortable being uncomfortable.
Most importantly…
✔️ Believe you can.

Because Kilimanjaro isn’t reserved for elite adventurers.
It’s climbed by teachers.
Parents.
Business leaders.
Cancer survivors.
Fundraisers.
People seeking a challenge.
People looking for perspective.
Ordinary people doing something extraordinary.
So, could you climb Kilimanjaro?
You might surprise yourself.

What’s stopping you? ⛰️

Fundraising has never been more important...

Across the UK, charities are facing a perfect storm.
Demand for services is rising.
Costs are increasing.
Traditional sources of funding are becoming harder to secure.

Yet behind every statistic are real people relying on these organisations for support, hope and change.
The challenge isn’t a lack of generosity. People still want to give. They want to make a difference. The challenge is creating meaningful connections between donors and causes.

That’s where adventure comes in.
At Uncharted Summits, we believe extraordinary experiences create extraordinary impact. Whether it’s Kilimanjaro, the National Three Peaks, or a bespoke challenge, adventure gives people a story they want to share and a purpose bigger than themselves. It turns supporters into ambassadors and fundraisers into communities.

We’ve seen first-hand what happens when people are united by a common goal. Recently, our Kilimanjaro expedition with Kidscape raised over £100,000 to support children and young people affected by bullying. Next week, over 20 participants will take on the National Three Peaks Challenge for Fertility Action, raising awareness and vital funds for those navigating fertility struggles.

Fundraising isn’t just about asking for donations.
It’s about creating experiences that inspire people to give.
It’s about building communities around causes.
It’s about bridging the gap between those who want to help and those who need it most.
And sometimes, all it takes is a mountain.

If you’re a charity leader, corporate partner, or someone looking to create impact through adventure, we’d love to start a conversation.

Because together, we can move mountains.

One week today...

We’ll be setting off on an unforgettable journey. Alongside Katie Rollings and an incredible team of 20+ fundraisers, we’ll be taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge in support of Fertility Action

Three mountains. 24 hours. One mission.

We’ve seen first-hand how powerful these challenges can be. They bring people together, push us beyond what we think is possible, and create meaningful change. But this one is about far more than reaching summits.
Every step we take is in support of those facing mountains far greater than Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.

Fertility journeys can be physically, emotionally and financially exhausting, and Fertility Action provides vital support, advocacy and hope for so many.
Over the past few months, we’ve watched this team come together with incredible determination and generosity.

Organised by myself and the unstoppable Find Your Summit and led by some of the Uk’s finest Mountain Leaders, we’re taking on one of the UK’s toughest endurance challenges to make a real difference.

And here’s the exciting part…

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have a couple of places available.

So if you’re up for an adventure, reasonably fit, want to raise money for an incredible charity, available 26–28 June, and want to be part of something truly special, we’d love to hear from you.

Sometimes the biggest impact starts with saying “yes” to something that scares you.

Who’s joining us? 💪🏔️

About last night…

We had the pleasure of attending the first-ever charity gala, in support of Maggie’s Aberdeen 🤍

A few weeks ago, Luke and I were lucky to be invited by , and we’ve got some exciting news on that coming soon…

From start to finish, the night was incredible. A stunning black-tie setting, an amazing five-course menu, and an atmosphere that just felt special.

A private performance by Emeli Sandé was a true highlight, absolutely unforgettable 🎶

The night was hosted by Alex Fleming, who had the whole room laughing (with some questionable humour thrown in 😅), and we heard a powerful and moving story from Craig “The Kilted Chef” about the incredible work Maggie’s do.

The auction was a huge success, with some amazing experiences up for grabs

At Uncharted Summits, giving back is a big part of who we are. So, last minute, we decided to donate a trip, helping raise an extra £2,400 and contributing to an incredible £60,000+ raised on the night 🙌

Biggest takeaway? Kindness is everything. It’s behind every smile, every story, every donation.

A room full of amazing people, and we left feeling genuinely inspired.

Thank you to everyone who made it so special 🤍

We set out on a mission.

A mission to help people find their space, and their summit.

To unlock potential.
To test resilience.
To bring out the strength that’s already within.

It’s about more than the climb.
It’s about giving back to causes that matter.
About experiencing new perspectives.
About appreciating even the smallest things that shape our lives.

It’s about reconnecting with what makes us human, and the power of community.

From day one, we set a bold goal:
💥 Raise £1 million for charity within 5 years.

Just over 2 years in… we’re on track.
Over £200,000 raised already through the incredible efforts of our Summiteers.

And we’re only getting started.

Every challenge. Every adventure. Every step forward brings us closer, with funds going directly to the causes our community cares deeply about.

In a time of funding cuts, this matters more than ever.

We don’t just support charities, we actively partner with them.
We fundraise with purpose. With intent. With heart.

Because for us… it’s personal.

✨ Let me tell you about Rosee — aka Mama Simba 🦁✨

At 75 years young, Rosee joined our fundraising trek up Kilimanjaro in aid of Kidscape 🧡

After months of dedicated training with her PT, Rosee showed us what a truly upbeat, can-do attitude looks like. Nothing was going to stand in her way 💪

She quickly became a bit of a mountain celebrity, other trekking groups heard about her incredible achievement, cheering her on and feeling inspired by her unstoppable tenacity 👏

Age is just a number. Slow and steady really does win the race.
We are so proud of you and your inspiring achievement, Mama Simba 🏔️

Kidscape Kilimanjaro 2026 ✅

To test yourself is to know yourself.

The last two weeks pushed every limit, leading an incredible team across Tanzania and supporting 24 humans to summit Kilimanjaro. It was hard. Exhausting. Humbling.

The mountain doesn’t care who you are, only how you act, adapt, and support each other.

Proud beyond words of this team.
Grateful. Humbled. Inspired.

Over £100,000 raised for a cause bigger than any one person.
This is what leadership looks like. ❤️
