Sunrise at the Historic Brown. 🍂✨

Tucked into the heart of Breckenridge, this historic home has watched the seasons—and the stories—come and go for generations. As the morning light hits the mountains and the aspens turn gold, it’s easy to see why this place feels like a little piece of Colorado history.

And if these walls could talk… they’d have a few stories to tell. 👻

Members of the Sample Supports North Leadership Team recently attended the Hearts & Horses Gala in support of Morgan. The evening brought together managers from our residential, day program, employment, and behavioral services to stand alongside her parents and host home providers.

Happy Vacation Homes was also proud to donate a stay at one of its properties in support of the Gala and the important work of Hearts & Horses Therapeutic Riding Center. You can donate to this lovely organization here: https://f.mtr.cool/wdfijmuhof

It is always awesome to see everyone across our programs working together to help one person thrive. We’re grateful for Morgan’s entire support team, including her excellent host home providers, Sandra and Joe, and parents Mike and Kathi McGinley and proud to celebrate the relationships that make meaningful, person-centered support possible.

We’re proud to see our owner, Carmen Sample, featured by YPO!

What began as Carmen’s lifelong desire to help others has grown into a family of purpose-driven businesses creating meaningful opportunities for people with disabilities. Her story is a wonderful reminder that when inclusion and purpose lead the way, business can become a powerful force for good.

Our Maine lake cottage puts you right where you want to be: tucked beneath the trees with the lake just steps away.

Morning coffee by the water, afternoons on the lake, and a front-row seat to those quiet Maine evenings.

Small cottage. Pretty incredible backyard.
