Have you ever seen a Thresher Shark? 🦈🩵
Also known as the Fox Shark, the Thresher Shark is one of the most beautifull and elegant and sharks to spot in the Red Sea Egypt.
Growing up to 5 meters in length, these sharks are easily spotter by their incredibly long, tails, which they use as a weapon while hunting.
But spotting one isn’t easy! 👀
Thresher Sharks are shy, very deep-water creatures that can dive to depths of up to 500 meters. However, in the early morning, they sometimes visit cleaning stations at depths of around 30–40 meters, giving lucky divers a rare opportunity to see and dive them.
📍 The Brother Islands and Daedalus Reef are the best places in the Red Sea to spot these amazing sharks.
Join us aboard M/Y ALSURAYA and maybe you are also one of the lucky divers to spot them.
