A whirlwind weekend of games with a trip to the World Series (Go Brewers!!), a Packers-Lions game in Detroit, Big Ten football at the Big House with Indiana and Michigan, and some NHL action with the Blackhawks and Canadians. Loads of fun with the family, but I’m actually exhausted. 😀⚾️🏈🏈🏒

A true bucket-list experience for me was getting to St Andrews and playing a round on the legendary Old Course! ⛳️

Known as the “Home of Golf,” the game has been played here since the early 15th century, and you can feel that history everywhere you look.

Getting a tee time isn’t easy, but I can tell you it’s well worth the extra effort. From the more than 100 deep bunkers to the seven shared greens, this links course is full of unique features that make it unlike anywhere else.

And topping it off with a stay at the iconic Old Course Hotel made the whole experience even better!

It’s amazing how easy it is to hop from one country to the next in Europe and have a completely different experience. So, for us, it’s on to Barcelona!

Our home base for the next three nights is a beautiful rooftop terrace suite at the Barcelona Almanac Hotel. What a great place to call home for a few days!

From the Amalfi Coast, it was a winding ride over the mountains to the Sorrento Coast for our final night in Italy. 🇮🇹

We made a few fun food stops along the way—visiting a mozzarella factory, an olive oil producer, and seeing how the famous limoncello is made. Then it was time for a quick swim, a little shopping, and dinner in town.

After Ischia, it was a quick ferry ride to Positano, where we spent the next three nights at an unbelievable property, Casa Angelina. Perched high on the cliffs with incredible views of Positano, this Virtuoso property has just 36 suites—and more than 150 staff. Needless to say, you’ll be very well looked after!

And when you’re ready for a completely different vibe, just take the elevator down to the beach club for a cocktail and dip in the water. Doesn’t get much better!

On to OKTOBERFEST! 🍺🇩🇪 And this time, we even had our daughter and her friends join us!

With more than 6 million people over 16 days…it’s safe to say Oktoberfest is no small event! I had tables reserved for all 22 of us, which is a must if you want to experience one of the mega tents. Our particular tent held well over 7,000 people!

If you haven’t been, definitely put this one on your bucket list. The energy, the b**r, the food, and the sheer size of it all make Oktoberfest an experience you won’t forget! 🍻
