Does it rain every day in Seattle? 🌧️

Seattle has a reputation for being one of the rainiest cities in America, but does it really rain every single day?

The answer is NO! ☀️

Seattle experiences plenty of rainy and cloudy days, especially during fall and winter, but it also enjoys beautiful dry weather.

🌸 Spring: Showers, blooming flowers and occasional sunshine.
☀️ Summer: Generally the driest season, perfect for exploring the city.
🍂 Fall: Rain becomes more frequent as temperatures cool.
❄️ Winter: Expect wetter weather, cloudy skies and occasional snow.

Planning your first Seattle trip? Bring a waterproof jacket, comfortable shoes and a flexible itinerary.

From Pike Place Market to the Space Needle, Seattle has plenty to offer, rain or shine.

💬 Would you visit Seattle during the rainy season?

❄️ Think Paris spends winter covered in snow? Not even close.

Here’s the surprising part:

Paris usually sees snow on only around 2–5 days a year.

Yep… just a handful of snowy days. 🗼❄️

And even when the flakes arrive, the snow is often light and may melt within 24–48 hours.

So if you’re dreaming of waking up to white Paris rooftops and the Eiffel Tower surrounded by snow, timing matters, a lot.

The simple answer:

❄️ Snow days: Around 2–5 per year
🌨 Typical snowfall: Usually light
⏳ How long it lasts: Often only 24–48 hours

That’s exactly why seeing Paris in the snow feels so special, you have to be lucky enough to catch it.

Would you book a winter trip to Paris for just a few chances of seeing snow? 👀🇫🇷

🌧️ What if the rain is the best part of Bergen?

⛰️ Seven mountains cradle this city, and every trail begins the same way: leave the harbour’s colour behind and climb. 🥾 Boots sink into moss thick as velvet. 💦 Waterfalls thread through birch and spruce, loud, then suddenly hushed. 🌲 Above the treeline, the wind smells of cold stone and heather.

🌫️ Then comes the turn. ☁️ Cloud tears open, and a fjord lies silver below, red roofs shrunk to embers.

🌦️ Bergen sees rain over 200 days a year, so when the light breaks, it feels like a gift. 🎁

🪵 Some summits keep one more secret: a wooden bench, a tiny cabin, a view the locals rarely post.

🤔 Which would you choose: a misty climb where the fjord reveals itself slowly, or a clear-sky dash for the full panorama? 💬 Comment MIST or CLEAR, and save this for your Norway plans.

🏔️ Why does the summit never feel like the point?

🥾 Trails don’t hand you views. They make you earn the silence first. 🤫

🌄 The best moment? Rarely the top. It’s the ten minutes after the last switchback, when the valley opens, and you forget your phone exists. 📵

⛰️ Somewhere on every trail is a turn that rewrites you. Most people turn back before it. 🧭

Two Italian regions are still fighting over one dessert. 🇮🇹🍰

Veneto points to Treviso, where Le Beccherie's kitchen allegedly layered the first tiramisù in the late 1960s. 🏛️🍮 Friuli answers with Tolmezzo and an older claim. ⚔️ Neither side blinks.

What nobody disputes: espresso-soaked savoiardi, ☕ mascarpone whipped to silk, 🥄 a veil of cocoa that dusts your lip on the first bite. 🍫 The name means “pick me up,” ✨ and one spoonful in a Venetian bacaro at 4 p.m. explains why. 😋

Even the recipe is contested, and the real feud starts inside the dish. 🔥

So what is your choice? A splash of Marsala, 🥃 or pure espresso only? ☕ Choose a side.

Ruins don’t die; they just learn to haunt. 🦇

Vikings, a king’s greed, and four centuries of North Sea gales have wounded Whitby Abbey. ⚔️🌊 It still stands, a Gothic skeleton on East Cliff with its lancet windows open to the sky. 🏚️

Climb the 199 steps from the old town, past St Mary’s leaning gravestones. 🪦 The wind tastes of salt and woodsmoke. 🌬️🔥 Gulls wheel through arches where Abbess Hild once ruled monks and nuns alike, in AD 657. ⛪

In 1890, Bram Stoker stood in this same churchyard. 🖋️ Seven years later, Dracula came ashore here as a black dog and bounded up these cliffs. 🐺🧛

Come at dusk, when the stone turns honey-gold, then ash-grey. 🌅

There’s one detail most visitors walk straight past. It’s tucked inside the Cholmley mansion beside the ruins. 🔎🏰

❄️ Want to see Paris in the snow? Don’t automatically book December.

The better answer is January and February.

If you’re chasing snowy rooftops, white café terraces and the Eiffel Tower under falling flakes, your best window is usually from mid-January to mid-February.

But here’s the catch:

Paris is not a guaranteed snow destination.

Even during its snowiest stretch, you may still get cold rain instead of snow, and when snow does fall, it can melt quickly.

So the simple answer is:

❄️ Best months for snow: January + February
📅 Sweet spot: Mid-January to mid-February
🌧 Reality: Snow is possible, never guaranteed
Would you actually plan your Paris trip around the chance of snow? 🗼❄️

The real Paris starts where the postcards stop. 🗼

Climb Montmartre's cobbled lanes at 7 a.m., when bakers slide warm baguettes across zinc counters 🥖, and the Sacré-Cœur glows like sugared stone. ⛪ Step inside Sainte-Chapelle, where more than a thousand stained-glass scenes pour amber and sapphire over your shoulders. 🪟 Wander the Marais to Place des Vosges, red brick and slate holding its symmetry like a breath. 🏘️ Follow the iron footbridges of Canal Saint-Martin as dusk turns the water to pewter. 🌆

The Eiffel Tower is Paris's signature. 🗼 This is its handwriting. ✍️

And one rooftop terrace here offers a sweeping skyline for free, with almost no queue. 👀

👑 Toledo lost its crown, and that's why it survived.

📜 In 1561, Philip II moved the royal court to Madrid. The city of Emperor Charles V was left behind, quiet and untouched by the industry that reshaped the rest of Spain.

🌊 Today the Tagus River curls around its hilltop on three sides like a held breath. Stone alleys wind past El Greco's canvases in the Cathedral. A mosque from 999 CE still stands at Cristo de la Luz. ✨ Gold-edged Mudéjar plasterwork glows inside El Tránsito synagogue. ✡️ Christians, Muslims and Jews shared this single hill for centuries. 🕌

⚔️ Its steel blades were once coveted by armies across Europe. Its marzipan began with a besieged city and a convent of nuns, and the tale is best heard on the cobblestones. 🍬

🌅 You get one morning in Toledo. Do you spend it with El Greco in the Cathedral, or at sunrise on the Alcázar's heights? 🏰 Share your thoughts in the comments below. 💬
