A beautiful afternoon at Silverburn Park for our Samhain Circle: Fire, Reflection & Renewal. The crisp, still weather was perfect for gathering around the fire, sharing the moment and enjoying the flowers and the beautiful earth art we came across.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so special. I’m grateful for your warmth, your support and the lovely energy you brought to the circle. I hope we can gather around the fire again in the future.

If today’s earth art inspired you, have a look at the European Land Art Festival & Stone Stacking Championships in Dunbar, running 13–18 July 2027.

Halloween on the train took a frightening turn.

On my way home from Edinburgh’s Fire Festival, I was verbally and physically assaulted by a group of young teenagers. They used Jesus and Christianity to justify their bullying. Adults were nearby, but no one stepped in while the abuse was verbal. They only intervened when it became physical.

It was a deeply upsetting end to the night, and I’m sharing what happened because this kind of behaviour should not be brushed aside.

🔥🧙‍♀️ Halloween in Edinburgh, Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Where better for a witch to spend Halloween than in the ancient, magical city of Edinburgh?

Tonight, the city comes alive with fire, drums, ritual and the spirit of Samhain! 🔥🌙

Rooted in ancient Celtic traditions, Samhain marks the end of the harvest, the beginning of the darker half of the year and a time when the veil between worlds is believed to be at its thinnest.

There’s something extraordinary about experiencing this celebration here in Scotland, surrounded by fire, history and centuries of folklore.

The flames are rising. The wheel is turning. The magic is alive! 🔥✨

Blessed Samhain from Edinburgh! 🖤

A beautiful autumn afternoon exploring Dunfermline Abbey today. The golden leaves and soft October light made this remarkable place feel even more atmospheric.

With roots stretching back nearly 1,000 years, Dunfermline Abbey is one of Scotland’s most important historic sites. It became the final resting place of Scottish kings and queens, including Robert the Bruce.

History is everywhere here, carved into the stone and woven through the town. A perfect place to spend a fall afternoon in Fife.

What a brilliant night of Scottish ceilidh dancing at Bonnie & Wild in Edinburgh! 🏴

Thursday, October 29th, brought three hours of fantastic music, dancing, laughter and plenty of Scottish spirit!

The dance floor was packed at first, but as the evening went on, there was more room to really get moving!

What I loved most was the wonderful mix of ages and experience levels. Lots of beginners giving it a go, alongside experienced dancers who were happy to help, teach the steps and keep everyone moving in the right direction (well, most of the time! 😂).

Such a fun, welcoming atmosphere and a brilliant way to spend an evening in Edinburgh. You don’t need to know the dances. Just show up, join in and have a laugh!

Three hours of dancing, great people and a proper Scottish good time!
