Y’all, I’m not even sure how we managed to fit this much into ONE week! Between my own appointments, the kids’ appointments, school field trips, activities, and everything else life decides to throw in there… this week is about to be pure CHAOS! 🤪

I’m still here and working behind the scenes, but I’m asking for a little extra grace and patience this week if you’re trying to get in touch with me.

I promise I’m not ignoring anyone! I’ll be getting back to messages, emails, and travel requests as quickly as I can while juggling all the things.

I absolutely LOVE what I do, and I appreciate every single one of y’all who trusts me with your vacations. But this week, the mom hat and travel advisor hat are going to be fighting for first place! 😂✈️

Not a bad way to spend a Monday! 🇨🇭✈️

Today I was invited to a luncheon hosted by Switzerland Tourism, where I got to meet with people from Switzerland and learn more about what their country has to offer!

And the timing couldn’t have been better! 😂

I’m actually working on a Switzerland vacation quote for a client right now, so what better way to get information and ask questions than to go straight to the source?!

Y’all, Switzerland has SO much to offer! From the mountains and scenic train rides to the lakes, small towns, and everything in between. If Switzerland isn’t on your travel list, it should be!

This is one of the things I love about being a travel advisor. I get opportunities to meet people who know these destinations firsthand, ask questions, and get information that I can pass along to my clients.

There’s only so much you can learn from researching online. Getting to talk to the people who actually know the area is something I really value, especially when I’m planning a trip for someone!

And getting to do all of that over a nice lunch? I’ll take it! 😂

Okay y'all, if you're new here, let me introduce myself properly 😂

I'm Lindsey. Former flight attendant, wife, mom of 3, and the one-woman show behind Compass Travels ✈️

Here's what I actually do all day:
🚢 Compare twelve versions of the same cruise
🗺️ Study deck plans like I'm cramming for an exam
🤔 Second-guess myself TWICE before I send you anything 😂

Anyone can Google a cruise. But Google won't tell you:
🔇 Which cabins sit under the nightclub
🌅 Which side of the ship gets the sunset
🛂 That your passport card can't fly you home if something goes wrong mid-trip

I know those things because I've LIVED them.

THAT'S why you want a travel advisor. Not someone to click "book" for you. Someone who catches the stuff you'd never think to check.

I mostly plan cruises, all-inclusives, and guided tours 🚢🌴

Putting my two littlest employees to work this afternoon! 😂💕

Getting everything ready to drop off for an upcoming event, and of course, they wanted to help Mama!

What they don’t realize yet is that THEY are my why. ❤️

They’re the reason I work so hard, put in the long hours, and keep pushing even on the days when running a business isn’t easy.

Being a business owner and a mama isn’t always easy to juggle, but moments like this remind me exactly why I do what I do.

I’m building a business, but more importantly, I’m building a life that allows me to be present for them while showing them what hard work and determination look like.

And apparently, I’m raising my future employees, too. 🤣
