Our Daddy was the last fishing lugger built on sailing lines in east Looe, Cornwall in 1921. She fished with the Pengelly family for many years and has a name that many people know, indeed she is still known as the jewel of Looe. Continuing with our Community Involvement this weekend we were pleased to host a contingent of veterans and their partners from the Torbay branch of The Royal Marines Association.
Copious tea and biscuits were consumed whilst the lamp was well and truly swung before a light buffet in the warm sunshine.
We are looking forward to welcoming our next guests.

Well we’ve been back in Brixham a few days now and are just about recovered from a busy weekend entertaining guests in Looe. It’s always a humbling experience taking the Our Daddy back there. She is so well know and loved plus the locals don’t hold back on their opinions about the new colour scheme! lol. Now it’s back to day sails from Brixham our next is on the 8th August. Wow! Well after three nights in Looe and two days of festivities with day guests on board. We finished off today with a family charter to Fowey. Time for a well earned meal and maybe a pint or two! So no surprise to where we chose! Journey back home to Brixham tomorrow.
