شوشتر هي مدينة إيرانية ألغيت هويتها العربية تماماً حتى الأسماء العربية محرم وممنوع استخدامها وهذه المدينة تبعد عن مدينة الشوش الحالية اقل من عشرة كيلو مترات وتقع شمال الاهواز ( الأحواز العربية ) في جنوب ايران .
