Long weekends are great to catch on garden cleanups. We have worked very hard this weekend to tidy up some areas that just never really got attention.

We also compost all the dry leaves in the driveways and gardens. Since the council don't remove garden waste, I had to pay someone to come every month to remove it. So now we are saving money and creating our own compost which gets used in our gardens.We also encourage guests to keep their food waste for the compost area. Our red wriggler worms are extremely active in making compost.
