🐃The First Hunt of the Season – A Return to Africa🦒 🇸🇯
At the end of March, we kicked off our hunting season with an unforgettable group from Norway. It had been 15 years since their last African adventure, and the moment they stepped onto our soil, they said, "It feels like coming home." 🐾
From the very first day, Africa welcomed them back in the most spectacular way. The hunt began with an old giraffe cow—no longer producing calves—before leading into an adrenaline-charged pursuit of two Cape buffalo.
One of those buffalo hunts turned into a story for the ages. A perfect double lung shot sent the massive bull crashing into the thick brush, vanishing into a wall of thorns where visibility was no more than two meters. We stood in silence, ears straining. Then, we heard it—his labored breathing in the distance. A towering acacia tree trembled with each breath, revealing his hidden position.
Slowly, we pushed forward, tracking him through the unforgiving thicket. Every step carried the weight of anticipation. We made a few careful follow-up shots before the land fell silent again, broken only by the deep, shaking *death bellow*—Africa’s final farewell to a warrior who gave his last stand.
For our Norwegian hunters, this was more than just a trip—it was a homecoming. And for us, it was the perfect way to start the season.
