Mention the word Kalahari and it evokes images of flowing red dunes; herds of majestic wild life, showcasing all activities and accommodation on the R360 to Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. It starts 50 km from Upington on the R360 and heads to Askham/Van Zylsrus/Andriesvale (Khomani San), Kgalagadi Park, the R31 and Mier region. Camping deep in the bush surrounded by wildlife, Kalahari Trails' morning walks, sand surfing on the Kalahari Dunes and Diamond T Coffee Shop’s venison pie, is a definite bucket-list item. Other activities include sundowners on a dune, khomani heritage museum & walks with traditional dances and storytelling at the fire, spoor tracking and medical use of local herbs, craft markets, 4x4 routes, donkey cart rides, game drives and visit our camel farm Koppieskraal with Lost City.
