Did you know the tourist Route 62 stretches for roughly 850 km between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth?

It was actually developed as a scenic alternative to the N2 and most definitely one of my favourite routes. It takes travellers inland through wine country, over mountain passes and through the beautiful Klein Karoo. An absolutely epic roadtrip route.

And now the important question…
What’s YOUR favourite Route 62 stop?
Montagu? Barrydale? Calitzdorp? Oudtshoorn? Or where? 😁
