THE EXACT SAME IS HAPPENING HERE IN BELA-BELA. ALL THE POINTS RAISED BELOW IS VALID. DO YOU AGREE?

DEAR MODIMOLLE-MOOKGOPONG TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT:
WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO START IMPLEMENTING LAW AND ORDER ON THE STREETS OF MODIMOLLE?
Not the streets of Phagameng or the N1. The streets of Modimolle.
We are looking for answers, so I challenge you: go park at the dead robot at Laerskool Nylstroom, the stop sign at Hoërskool Nylstroom, along Thabo Mbeki Drive, and simply count how many cars drive straight through the STOP signs without even slowing down properly.
I promise you, out of 20 cars, only 5 will stop.
People don’t respect the law anymore because it is barely implemented.
At every other stop sign in town, you can see the same thing happening. Drivers are treating STOP signs as suggestions rather than laws.
When will this be taken seriously?
How long are we going to wait before an accident happens involving one of our community’s children?
And what if it is your child who gets hurt because drivers are ignoring the law and there is not enough enforcement to hold them accountable?
A STOP sign is not optional. It means STOP.
We are not asking for anything unreasonable. We are asking for the traffic laws to actually be enforced — especially around our schools, where children are present every day.
Please start taking this seriously before someone gets hurt or, even worse, before we have to ask why nothing was done after it was too late. Or else we as the community will take it into our own hands.
