Storms in Plettenberg Bay have uncovered a hidden piece of history beneath Main Beach. The weathered remains of a mysterious wooden shipwreck — believed to possibly be the Agnes schooner, which sank in 1882 — have resurfaced near the Ski Boat Club, reigniting intrigue about one of Plett’s most fascinating maritime mysteries.
