Van Zylsrust Country House Van Zylsrust Country House is self-catering accommodation on a farm between Bonnievale and McGregor at the foothills of the Riviersonderend Mountains.

It is here in the Breede River Valley that the vines of the wine lands and the vygies of the Karoo meet.It is a traditional farmhouse with six bedrooms (sleeps 12 – 14), large enough to accommodate a group of friends or families, with generous living space. Bring your own smartcard and you can make use of our DSTV. A fully equipped kitchen will make it easy to cater for family and friends. Apart f

rom plenty of sleeping space, there is a sitting room with fireplace and indoor braai with more than enough braai wood. Curl up in front of the fireplace with a good book and a glass of Muscadel from Montagu Cellars or a good Red wine from one of the many cellars in the famous
Robertson Wine Valley.

ROADWORKS AT WACKY!! There is roadworks taking place near Bon Courage. It will be managed on a stop-go basis during the weekend, but please also note the alternative routes you can use to reach your destinations quicker! You will still be able to reach all your favourite farms, but we do apologise for any inconvenience you may experience over the course of the weekend because of this.

What to do at Van Zylsrust Country House:

Put your feet up and enjoy your coffee and homebaked bread on one of the stoeps, while watching the guinea-fowls and other birds.
Lots of space for children.
The photographer can bring his camera, the artist his brush and the fisherman his tackle. Bring your bicycle and enjoy one of the many cycle routes in the area.
