Definitely one of the biggest surprises of this safari was this beautiful African Wild Cat. We set the hounds loose in pursuit of a Caracal, but the day took an unexpected turn and led us to this incredible trophy instead.

Our third Lion with Mr. Don, and what a magnificent White Lion it was. Without a doubt, this was probably the best shot of the hunt.

With only a small window of opportunity and the Lion about to disappear into cover, Mr. Don remained calm and made the shot count, stopping him in his tracks.

After a successful hunt on the male, we turned our attention to the female. She had other plans and made it very clear she wasn’t happy about our presence.

The first shot was slightly back due to the thick brush, but Mr. Don stayed calm under pressure and delivered two quick follow-up shots to bring the hunt to a clean conclusion.
