One of the members of our last group of hunters for the year, got a buffalo that ticks all the boxes in my books, big bosses, big drops and a big spread 🙌🏼 this bull was also well aged, a dugga boy out of a small old bachelor herd of three bulls. And the bonus was he was covered in grey dried mud/clay. Taken with one shot from a .375 H&H, top class. Waidmannsheil to the hunter! 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪

Our new buffalo 🐃 herd are settling in well, they’ve all put on a lot of weight partly from the early rains new growth and from the dry grass left on the veld from winter. Very exciting to see them settle in and become part of the ecosystem at Rhenosterhoek. Excited to learn thier habits and hunting them next season. Pictured is one of the herds lead bulls.
