Loading the first half of the 130-strong group of learners from Mpendulo Primary School from Queenstown/Komani. We used three boats for the outing, splitting the group in half due to the size of the group.

We had a couple of school groups cruise with us during the school holidays. One of these was Mpendulo Primary School from Queenstown/Komani. We took out 130 people, both educators and learners, split into two departures due to the size of the group, using 3 barge boats. The visitors were amazed by the Sundays River scenery and the majestic Alexandria coastal dunes.

We get all kinds of visitors on our cruises, young and old, local and foreign. Last week, we had the privilege of taking 50 tourism pensioners from a club in Limpopo down the river and up the sand dunes. Very unusual to have a men-only tour group on the boat with us.

On a recent cruise we passed three local fishermen in their rowboats heading lower down the river to fish with throw nets. We often see local subsistence fishermen on the river, but seeing three rowing together made them look like they were in a rowing race down the Sundays River.
