Built nearly a century ago for an aristocratic family and later home to the High Commissioner of the United Kingdom, there’s an unmistakable sense of memory in the air. Countless stories have played out between these walls. ⁠

Faithfully restored, the home's Spanish Revival architecture shines, from vaulted ceilings and wide arched windows to hand-painted tiles and twisting chimneys. Inside, an inspired collection includes work by Lulama Wolf, William Kentridge and Gabrielle Kruger.⁠

This historic estate is cocooned among the citrus groves and oak trees, wrapping itself around the Berg River with its gaze turned towards the Drakenstein Mountains.
