Elvira Dyangani Ose is the newly appointed artistic director of Zeitz MOCAA. She is a prominent art curator who directs the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona (MACBA), though she has a background specializing in contemporary African art and previously worked closely with international institutions. The leadership role at Zeitz MOCAA in Cape Town was famously held by the late Koyo Kouoh until her passing in 2025.
