👋 Meet René Moses, a passionate advocate for accessible tourism and transportation.

After more than 35 years in corporate customer service, René combined her lived experience as a quadriplegic with her passion for accessible tourism to establish Travel with René in 2010.

Offering wheelchair-accessible transport with experienced drivers and personalised tours, René helps people to explore the Western Cape with greater comfort, confidence and independence.

This Mobility Month, we celebrate René’s dedication to breaking down 🚧 barriers and making travel more accessible for fellow wheelchair users.

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful Accessible Cape Town Travel with Renè

My wife, son, and I recently enjoyed five excellent days exploring Cape Town and surrounds with Travel with Renè.

From the beginning, Renè was exceptionally courteous, responsive, and flexible, taking the time to understand our interests, travel preferences, and accessibility needs. She offered many excellent suggestions for our itinerary and also incorporated ideas and particular sites that we suggested. Driver-guide Lucien was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and most helpful, while also providing excellent and safe driving. Cape Town sites tend to be disability-friendly and Lucien was able to guide us through to the main events seamlessly with little waiting at all. We thoroughly-enjoyed many of the region’s highlights, including Table Mountain, w**e country, wildlife (Cheetah Outreach and Penguins!), and the Cape Peninsula.

Renè’s accessible van was very comfortable, well maintained, and perfectly suited to our needs. Throughout the trip, we felt thoroughly cared for and welcome

QAWC Spinal Cord Injury Support group: 8 June 2026

We are excited to announce that the QAWC Spinal Cord Injury Support Group which is held every 2 months at the Vincent Pallotti Hospital in Pinelands is going hybrid! Thanks to a partnership with Coloplast, support group meetings will be streamed so that members can join no matter where in the province you are. The details of this month's meeting are as follows:

DATE: 8 June 2026
TIME: 2 PM-3 PM
VENUE: Vincent Pallotti Hospital Boardroom or online (link below)
GUEST SPEAKER: Mark Schwartz-Mark, a wheelchair user well known to many through his work for Chairman Industries, will share his journey as a paraplegic, focusing on his experiences travelling around our country
