QAWC Spinal Cord Injury Support group: 8 June 2026

We are excited to announce that the QAWC Spinal Cord Injury Support Group which is held every 2 months at the Vincent Pallotti Hospital in Pinelands is going hybrid! Thanks to a partnership with Coloplast, support group meetings will be streamed so that members can join no matter where in the province you are. The details of this month's meeting are as follows:

DATE: 8 June 2026
TIME: 2 PM-3 PM
VENUE: Vincent Pallotti Hospital Boardroom or online (link below)
GUEST SPEAKER: Mark Schwartz-Mark, a wheelchair user well known to many through his work for Chairman Industries, will share his journey as a paraplegic, focusing on his experiences travelling around our country

Its taken a while but finally we have another wheelchair accessible boardwalk at Table Mountain Aerial Station. After discussions they have promised to look at reducing the gradient of the boardwalk as well as other steep rock surfaces & an assistant when visiting if you don't have a caregiver. Your caregiver goes up free.
