Most people will tell you to do a day trip from Tokyo, but staying in the nearby town called Shibu Onsen, makes the overall journey so much more worth it. At Shibu Onsen you can stay in a traditional Ryokan and walk around in a yukata as you use the 9 free public onsens which is such a unique experience. ✨

Disclaimer: if you love monkeys & have extra time, I recommend it. However, it’s a veryyy small park with only one onsen with the monkeys. many people and it does look like they feed them so they stay.

No hate on Lions Head hike but when you climb Lions Head… you don’t get views of Lions Head & honestly I feel like I prefer this hike with epic views of it instead 😍 this was hands down my favorite hike & view point in Cape Town & I can’t stop thinking about it 🥹

honestly this was one of the scariest things i’ve ever done in my life, actually jumping off a bridge AND paying to do it shows you how wild humans can be 😂

I will say after the initial jump it’s the most incredible insane feeling you’ll never experience unless you jump off a bridge and that was pretty worth it!
