IF YOU HAVE A VALID UK VISA - It needs to be converted to a digital one

South Africans travelling to the UK will now receive digital confirmation of their visa instead of receiving a physical sticker in their passport when they apply for a visa.
Applicants will be required to create a UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) account to access their e-visas.

The application process itself remains largely unchanged for South Africans. They must still book an appointment at a visa application centre and will then receive their visa and confirmation via the UKVI account.
Travellers who already have a valid UK visa in their passport do not need to reapply for a new e visa. Instead, they need to ensure their current visa is linked to a UKVI account.
To do this, they need to:
• Create or sign in to their UKVI account.
• Add the passport they will travel with.
• Link their existing visa through the ‘View and Prove your immigration status’ section.
• Confirm that their visa and passport details display correctly before travelling.
Once linked, their visa will appear digitally when their passport is scanned at the UK border.
The UK’s ETA is also now mandatory for all travellers from visa-exempt countries travelling to the UK.

Day 3
We visited the tallest building in the world, Burj Kalifa, what amazing views.
Expericed the House of Hype!
Followed by a delicious Asian lunch st Thapira at the Palace Downtown hotel
Followed by a trip to thr future at the Museum of the future!
Dinner was at The Meat company while watching the fountain show!

Busy day 2 in Dubai
First stop was The View at the Palm
52 floors up!
There was still quite a lot of fog!
Pictures don’t do it justice
Then a site inspection at the Atlantis Royal hotel followed by lunch at Malibu
Then we were off to Ain Dubai. (Big wheel)
Followed by a two hour luxury sunset yacht cruise
Followed by a site inspection at the Taj exotica resort and delicious Indian food dinner !

After the morning of exploring the hotwl we were collected and headed straight back into peak hour traffic to the old city !
We talking 6 lanes of heavy traffic
We were on our way to a cultural evening at SMCCU for Ifta (breaking the fast)
This was so interesting, as they explained their culture and way of life! Local man and woman sat with us as we broke their fast with them!
We started with a date and some water, only after we heard the call of prayer! Followed by coffee (very different to our coffee) and then a delicious feast! We were then taken to their Mosque!
This was a very interesting evening
I really enjoyed this experience
