Dave self published a spectacular 288 page photographic coffee table book on Southern Right Whales, with content added to the images, making the book both informative as well as riveting to page through.
Only 22 of the images that appear in the book were taken off a Whale boat, or from a plane, every other photo was taken from land.
This is Dave’s 2nd book, and spans over 10 years of observing, photographing and following the Whales each year they visit Walker Bay.
The book is a labour love, and designed to enlighten, educate and inform anyone who loves Nature, the Ocean, and obviously Whales.
It’s a unique gift for friends or family, locals or visitors who are eager to have something of Hermaus in their home, office, guesthouse or bookshelf.
